What do we do?

Square Mile Expert Witness assists institutional clients in their defence of accusations of failing in their professional duties or conduct towards their clients. 

We also assist investors who have purchased or sold investment products - stocks and shares, unit trusts and other collective investment products - who believe they have been ill advised, the subject of inappropriate investment advice, or suffered loss as a result of fraudulent actions by their Stockbroker, Financial Advisers or Intermediaries.

How do we do it?

• Initial Consultation
• Decision as to whether to proceed following initial consultation
• Letter of appointment
• Detailed review of paperwork and available information
• Preparation of detailed report
• Conclusion and Final Recommendation
• If appropriate we will contact your Stockbroker, Financial Adviser or Financial Institution with the intent of obtaining an agreed settlement or damages
• We will participate in the mediation process if required
• A claim will then be submitted through the Civil Courts or appropriate Regulatory Organisation
• We will act as Expert Witness in person or in writing at any subsequent Mediation, Tribunal or Court Hearing
• Additionally, if you require assistance in the instruction of a legal adviser we will introduce you to solicitors experienced in this type of action
